Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week, term time only, plus 10 days in school holidays.Salary: Regional Grade 3 – at least £27,171 FTE (actual £22,764)Required from: September 2025
The Role:
Royal High School Bath is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Prep School Administrator who will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors and who will provide support to the Head of the Prep School (and other members of the Prep School Leadership Team), so that they can undertake their roles with maximum effectiveness and ensure the smooth running of the Prep School.
The successful candidate will possess excellent time management, organisation and administrative skills. You will have the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively with the needs of the school. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to relate well to people on all levels. Acting as the primary point of contact between the school and its parents and visitors, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be flexible and approachable in a busy day to day environment and have an understanding of safeguarding children. Written and verbal communication skills are important, along with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have experience of undertaking a range of administrative tasks in a busy customer facing role however full training and guidance will be given to the right candidate. Experience of working within a school environment is desirable.
