Summary
We're looking for a Plant & Tool Hire Technician to join us at our brand new branch in Cambridge (Nuffield Road)!
As part of our expansion, we’re on the lookout for a passionate and driven Hire Technician to join the team. At HIREBASE, we take pride in offering an extensive range of top-quality plant and tool hire, designed to meet the needs of everyone—from skilled tradespeople to DIY enthusiasts and self-builders. With over 90 branches across the nation and big plans for future growth, we’re eager to welcome self-motivated individuals who are ready to be a part of our exciting journey!
What will I be doing?
• Take pride in ensuring our hire fleet is always in excellent condition, maintained and repaired to the highest standards!
• Keep all hire fleet maintenance records up to date and organized, so we're always ready to deliver the best service.
• Keep the Depot and Workshop spotless, tidy, and safe – creating an environment where efficiency and safety thrive!
• Supporting the Hire manager with annual stock takes. audits and various report-based activities
• Help securing the Hire business by proactively safeguarding our company’s assets and preventing theft, ensuring a safe and trusted environment for our operations.
• Be the face of exceptional service by assisting our customers, whether in person at the Depot or over the phone, with energy and enthusiasm.
• Deliver outstanding customer service every time, making sure our customers leave satisfied and eager to return!
Hours: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and alternate Saturday mornings 8am-12pm
