Job Description

The Hard Services Supervisor will be responsible for leading the operations and maintenance team, ensuring all building services are delivered to a world-class and consistent standard.

This includes not only overseeing the delivery of day-to-day maintenance activities but also managing the team in line with company policies. Responsibilities span across team supervision, workforce planning, task delegation, performance appraisals, and addressing issues as they arise.

With a focus on continuous improvement, this position is ideal for someone confident in leading a technical team who has a keen eye for quality and efficiency and is committed to upholding the highest standards of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance and utility operations, ensuring quality standards are met
Assign and manage tasks for reactive and planned maintenance
Monitor team performance and take corrective action when needed
Oversee the completion of PPM and work tickets on schedule
Maintain and update SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs as required
Liaise with clients, resolve issues, and coordinate site access
Manage contractors and support escalation as part of the on-call rota

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Vocational qualification in electrical discipline (e.g., C&G L3,
Inspection and Testing, BS7671) or equivalent
Supervisory experience preferred
Experience in building services, ideally within integrated facilities management
Skilled in using hand tools and test equipment
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
