Summary

Are you a calm, caring, and reliable individual looking to gain experience in a school setting?

Quokka Education is proud to be supporting a Top 10 Hampshire secondary school in Winchester, who are seeking a School Care Practitioner (similar to a school nurse) to join their pastoral team throughout September 2025.

No prior experience is needed - just a friendly, composed presence and a willingness to support young people. Full training will be provided.

About the Role
- Act as a first point of contact for students feeling unwell or in need of support
- Provide reassurance and basic first aid (online training provided)
- Help guide students to the appropriate internal support teams
- Work closely with pastoral and SEND staff
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school

Contract Details

Start Date: 1st September 2025
End Date: 30th September 2025
Hours:
 • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
 • Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: Grade C - £98 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
