An established alternative provision in the S43 area of Chesterfield is seeking two dedicated and resilient Specialist Teaching & Learning Assistants. These roles involve supporting primary-aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education and require a structured, trauma-informed environment to thrive.

About the Role
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
- Assist with emotional regulation, transitions, and engagement in learning
- Contribute to the delivery of individual behaviour and education plans
- Support during structured lessons and unstructured parts of the day
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals
- May involve occasional home visits or remote support where needed

About You
- Experience in SEN settings, alternative provision, PRUs, or youth support roles
- Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience
- A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence and business-use car insurance (essential if travel is required)
