MAIN DUTIES
We’re hiring a Streetscene & Waste Operative to support waste and recycling removal from residential, business, and public areas. This role includes:
- Safe collection of waste/recycling in line with Health & Safety and Codes of Practice
- Grounds maintenance and street cleansing (approx. 80% of duties)
- Cleaning spillages and split bags, including safe removal of hazardous substances
- Ensuring all areas are left clean and tidy, with bins replaced as needed
