Full time hours on a temporary basis
We’re seeking a skilled Platform Specialist to manage and optimize our IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain production servers, cloud environments (Azure, Office 365), SaaS apps, networks, backups, and security systems.
- Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to strategy, governance, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead the Technical Support team, manage escalations, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Represent the team at CAB meetings, reviewing and approving infrastructure changes.
- Oversee and influence budgets:
- £4M operational contracts
- £4M capital projects
- £2M Microsoft cloud spend
- £1.5M outsourced services
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
- Optimize licensing and cloud costs.
