Summary
St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Woolton is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Officer to undertake a variety of maintenance and support duties that ensure the smooth running of the church and its buildings and land.
This role combines responsibilities related to building maintenance, statutory compliance, and ensuring the church is prepared for its various services and events.
The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the upkeep of church buildings, facilitating statutory compliance and health and safety programs and ensuring that St Mary’s Church remains a welcoming and safe environment for the parish and its visitors.
This is a permanent post, working part-time, 25 hours flexibly across the week based on the demands of the Parish.
Applicants must have; experience of working in a similar role or trade background, experience of managing and implementing maintenance programmes, the ability to identify problems and correct defects, excellent verbal and written skills. Experience of working with buildings which are places of worship, or listed buildings would be advantageous.
