• Week 1: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Week 2: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Plant Technician to join our busy manufacturing site in Redditch. This is a permanent opportunity offering stability, competitive pay, and excellent working hours.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with an electrical bias, though multi-skilled applicants with strong mechanical knowledge are also encouraged to apply.

The Role:

As a Multi-Skilled Plant Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and improvement of all plant equipment. You’ll work closely with production teams to ensure minimal downtime, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance in line with company safety and quality standards.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults on plant equipment

  
  

• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime

  
  

• Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and checks

  
  

• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

  
  

• Accurately document maintenance activities

  
  

• Identify required spare parts and liaise with stores/procurement

  
  

• Support production teams during breakdowns and start-ups

  
  

• Work on machinery installations and commissioning projects

  
  

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment

  
  What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting

    
    

  • Strong electrical knowledge (mechanical understanding also valuable)

    
    

  • Competent in fault finding and problem solving on industrial equipment

    
    

  • Understanding of machine control systems and/or automation

    
    

  • Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure

    
    

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
