Summary
Conveyancing Solicitor / Licensed Conveyancer
Location: Leeds – Hybrid Working (1–2 days in the office per week)
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 DOE + benefits
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience, including new build experience
The Role:
A well-regarded and growing law firm in Leeds is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its busy Residential Property team, focusing on New Build work. This senior role offers the opportunity to support the Head of Department, take on team management duties, and contribute to the strategic direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions with a strong focus
on new build properties
- Liaising with clients, developers, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors
- Supervising and mentoring junior conveyancers and support staff
- Assisting the Head of Department with team management, workflow allocation,
compliance and performance monitoring
- Ensuring transactions progress smoothly and in line with regulatory and procedural
requirements
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, with new build
experience essential
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
- Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills
- Confident using case management systems and comfortable working in a tech-
enabled environment
