A little about myself:
I am a young girl with a diagnosis of ASD and a learning disability. I have communication, sensory and behavioural needs. I am non-verbal but communicate by hand pulling and different vocal sounds e.g. growling or laughing. I am generally happy, affectionate, creative and I enjoy watching YouTube on my iPad, looking through books, watching Peppa Pig, Gabby’s Dollhouse and listening to nursery rhymes and dancing. I can mobilise independently and have a manual wheelchair that I use time to time in the community. I am sensitive to loud unpredictable noise, I enjoy open spaces and a quiet environment, and I enjoy spending time outside. My mum is happy to be contacted at any time, if I am upset.
