Summary
Term Time only part time school hours
To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support
programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management
of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main
teaching area.
Provide tailored support to a specific pupil helping them access learning and participate in the classroom environment. This role may involve working with pupils who may have a special educational need , focusing on their individual learning and development needs.

All post holders in regulated activity are subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check.
