  • Demonstrate a love of reading and a sound understanding of the secondary English curriculum
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a deep appreciation of cultural diversity

  • Work closely with the English Lead to support curriculum delivery and drive forward key initiatives in reading, writing, and oracy
  • Support the development of staff understanding of literacy and phonics through coaching and collaboration
  • Contribute to the school’s wider reading strategy, ensuring a broad and inclusive literacy offer for all pupils

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape whole-school practice and make a meaningful impact on student outcomes through literacy, oracy, and inclusive education.
