What you can add: To carry out the assessment of children, identifying nursing problems and needs, in partnership with their family/carer. To assess risks to children, be able to recognise vulnerable children and respond in accordance with the Trust policy, seeking support from senior staff as appropriate. Attend the delivery of an infant with predictable needs and safely transport and admit to SCBU Attend the delivery of an infant with complex needs and safely transport to SCBU with supervision if required The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What you'll need: A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within the last 2 years Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
