This includes learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries, sensory impairments, dementia and mental health support needs.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and flexible individual to join our dedicated team in Exmouth as a Waking Night Support Worker.

About the Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, your role will be varied and meaningful. You will be a calm and reassuring presence, providing overnight support and promoting the wellbeing and safety of the individuals in our care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with evening and morning routines

  • Monitoring individuals throughout the night and responding to their needs

  • Completing and maintaining relevant records and documentation

  • Assisting with personal care where required

  • Carrying out light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

To succeed in this role, you will need to be adaptable and empathetic. Many of the people we support live with dementia, so it is important that you are sensitive to their changing needs and able to offer support with patience and understanding.
