Summary
About the role
You will support the Workforce/Organisation Development team with a wide range of administrative duties, often acting as the first point of contact for any OD related queries, giving appropriate support and advice as required. Assisting the team to deliver face to face training and induction processes.
The role will support colleagues and volunteers from all departments to access our Learning Management System – iLearn, to facilitate bookings for training needs, assist the Lead Admin for iLearn with data entry, setting up courses and programmes and managing staff queries.
You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation and correspondence you engage with for the Workforce/OD team is accurate and in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Essential criteria
- To be the first point of contact for internal and external teams regarding OD service provision.
- Monitor and respond to the team generic mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and escalating to other team members as appropriate.
- Support with the administration of the training programmes for the OD team including pre and post event delivery – feedback capture.
- Support the iLearn Admin Lead with managing information for employees and volunteers held on iLearn.
- Promote self-service uptake to support a culture of self-managed learning and compliance
- Support with the move to digital forms such as appraisals and any future developments with the HR database.
- Assist as required with producing reports for the Education and OD Leads.
- Utilise MS Office software applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Intranet, MS Teams, Zoom & SharePoint.
- Work with other administrators within the team and Education team to coordinate room bookings, resource management including any technology requirement and support delegate booking processes as required.
- Contribute to the maintenance of electronic calendar of event and room bookings for the OD team.
- Provide administrative support to the team, where necessary during formal meetings, this may include booking rooms, coordination attendees, taking detailed notes.
