HS&E Advisor - Manufacturing Focus

Are you passionate about promoting safety and well-being in the workplace? Are you looking for a dynamic and challenging role that allows you to make a real difference? Look no further - we are seeking an experienced HS&E Advisor to join our team in Henstridge.

As an HS&E Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our manufacturing facilities comply with all relevant legislative requirements. You will conduct risk assessments, update relevant policies, and work closely with our team to develop and deliver effective HS&E training courses. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, recording observations, and providing timely recommendations for improvement.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements, especially in a manufacturing environment. You must also possess excellent communication and people skills, as you will be interacting with employees at all levels of the organisation on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to eliminate or control potential hazards.
* Keep up-to-date with relevant HS&E legislation and ensure our facilities comply with all legal requirements.
* Review and update HS&E policies and procedures as needed.
* Design, develop and deliver training courses on a variety of HS&E topics.
* Conduct regular toolbox talks and engage employees in effective safety conversations.
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
* Record observations and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety initiatives.
* Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for prevention.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Keep accurate records and provide regular reports on HS&E performance.

Requirements:
* NEBOSH Certificate
Working knowledge of ISO 45001/14001
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of HS&E legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigations and developing safety policies.
* Strong communication, presentation, and training skills.
