About the Role:
As a Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to the smooth running of the department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance who is looking to grow within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and on time
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Managing stock counts (reporting & valuing)
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- AAT or CIMA qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.
- Self-starter
