Summary
We are looking for a Domestic Services Operative to undertake a range of cleaning duties throughout all areas of an acute hospital to a high standard enhancing the patient's experience by ensuring that both the clinical and administrative environments are clean, well-presented, and maintained in a way which maximises the patient's sense of comfort, safety, and well-being.
Main duties of the job
To ensure all ward areas, including patient rooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces, are kept clean and tidy to the highest standards in accordance with NHS Cleaning Standards with safely and efficiently dispose of general waste and clinical waste, adhering to hospital infection control protocols.
Infection Control: Work with the clinical team to support infection control by maintaining high hygiene standards and using approved cleaning methods and materials.
