Summary

Randstad Construction & Property is working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless communication across various sites.
Location: Brierley Hill
Salary: Competitive - £13.71 / £15.36
Employment Type: Full time role starting ASAP and could be permanent for the right candidate

An average day will include the following:
  • Provide front-line admin support for facilities-related issues and requests.
  • Establish and maintain good supplier relations to ensure effective delivery and quality of Installations
    * Experience in document control is highly desirable
    * Excellent IT skills with Microsoft applications and other in house IT Management systems (Maximo, SAP and Coupa)
    * Excellent communication and customer service skills
    * Strong interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills
    * Demonstrate good time management skills, working to deadlines and adhering to set procedures.
    * Needs to be versatile and adaptive
    * Credible experience within a general administrative position
    * Excellent organisational skills
    * Willingness to learn & develop
An ideal candidate will have:
  • Ideally have a DBS or would be willing to do one if successful for the role
  • Previous experience in facilities management or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and facilities management software.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance systems and processes is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demands.
  • A proactive and resourceful problem-solver.
  • A strong team player, with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Professional, with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
