Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Year 2/3 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a mixed-age class environment and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. Starting September 2025.
Duties as a Year 2/3 Teacher:
Teach a mixed Year 2/3 class, delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages pupil progress and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity and progression across year groups.
Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to support all learners, including those with SEND.
Ideal Year 2/3 Teacher:
Hold QTS and have experience teaching in KS1 or lower KS2 (Year 2, 3 or mixed-age classes).
Be confident in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum across both key stages.
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 2/3 Teacher.
Be reflective, organised, and passionate about raising achievement.
Work well as part of a team and contribute positively to school life.
