The education and experiences we offer equips our young people with the leadership skills, team spirit, resilience and confidence to become outstanding citizens.About the roleWe are looking for a friendly and competent individual with some experience of cleaning in schools, hospitals or commercial premisesThe successful candidate will be required to follow and adhere to a cleaning schedule to ensure that the premises are cleaned and tidied to the highest standard and to create a pleasant environment for both staff and pupils in the schoolReplace/ replenish items if necessary to the role at the schoolBe responsible for cleaning the school site as allocated by the caretakerKeep designated area clean and safe for pupilsVacuum all carpeted areas, wash or mop the floors of the cloakrooms and toilets in designated areasEnsure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the school on a daily basisAll other general cleaning duties undertaken as advisedYou will need the ability to work with limited supervision, be physically fit as the job will involve some lifting and carryingHave an awareness to all Health & Safety policies and proceduresPermanent, 17.5 hours per week, term time 38 weeks worked1st of September 2025 start dateAbout our AcademyGreenfields Primary School & Nursery joined the David Ross Education Trust in November 2013 and in January 2020 they received a glowing “Outstanding” from Ofsted. “Pupils are very proud of their school.
