As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a proactive and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
You’ll be joining a small, dynamic business where a positive attitude, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset are essential. Every day brings new challenges — from running large and small-scale projects to supporting customers and colleagues with technical queries.
Primarily based in the office, with some travel to client sites across the South East, this role offers the chance to build both technical skills and project management experience in a thriving industry.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Mechanical or related qualification & experience
• CAD skills (preferred, not essential)
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
• Hydraulic knowledge (a plus)
• Leadership or supervisory experience (desirable)
• Exceptional attention to detail & problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
What will your role look like?
• Manage engineering projects from conception to completion
• Design solutions (CAD experience preferred but not essential)
• Prepare quotes, risk assessments & method statements
• Oversee engineers, subcontractors, and the supply chain
• Maintain and grow client relationships
• Attend client sites and meetings across the South East
• Ensure projects stay on time and within budget
