What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work:Up To 36 Hours Per Week - Various Shifts Available (07:00 - 22:00) - Very Flexible Provider

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide vital support to clients, offering companionship, personal care, and help around the home. Your presence brings comfort, dignity, and safety to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities:

• Companionship: Brighten clients’ days with friendly conversation and emotional support.
• Personal Care: Assist with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility — always with respect and kindness.
• Home Help: Prepare meals, do light housework, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Medication Support: Ensure clients take medications correctly, with full training provided.
• Safety & Reporting: Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to keep clients safe.
• Care Plans: Follow personalised care plans and document visits clearly.
• Team Communication: Stay connected with supervisors and the office team for guidance and support.

Essential Requirement: You Must Be a Driver - You’ll need a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle to cover areas like Berkhamsted, Tring, Chesham, and Rickmansworth. Mileage is reimbursed, and we’ll help plan your routes.

Other Requirements:

• Aged 18 or over
• Enhanced DBS check
• Availability for regular shifts (including early mornings, evenings, or alternate weekends)
