Addington School offers an environment committed to staff development and a route into teaching for candidates looking for a stepping stone onto the SEND teacher ladder.


Providing support to the Class Teacher, the role will involve assisting with the general management of pupils, preparing the classroom and setting out resources, supporting with pupils’ individual needs providing a bespoke environment for the children to learn.


You will work with a dedicated team to support pupils to feel safe and settled and help them to grow in confidence by learning through play.


The Early Years centre caters for pupils from three to eight years of age and offers different spaces adapted specifically to cater for their needs. The centre has sensory areas, breakout rooms and accessible indoor and outdoor classrooms to help the children regulate by accessing an exceptional play based and sensory curriculum.
