Summary
Overview
As we are expanding the business at a new site in the centre of Bridlington, we are seeking proactive kitchen staff to join our team. In this role, you will carry out meal preparation and food safety practices to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn and good interpersonal skills.
Duties
Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Carry out periodic including daily checks of all aspects of the kitchen as well as cleaning tasks to a set schedule.
Delivery of food to tables, clearing down tables and using dishwasher sometimes assisted by table waiting staff/glass collectors.
Skills
Excellent verbal communication skills..
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
Familiarity with restaurant or bar/pub environments is desired where possible.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
