A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and self-motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join a new independent small animal practice in the beautiful coastal town of Redcar, North Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity to develop and grow with a practice that is setting up from the ground up, with full support in the establishment and development process. The role offers clinical freedom, a supportive team, and the chance to manage your own caseload and build lasting relationships with clients.
This role would suit a confident Vet who is happy working sole charge. You’ll have the opportunity to lead or mentor your own team (if you wish) and also gain the chance to perform keyhole surgery at their sister site!
Redcar is a seaside town in North Yorkshire, known for its sandy beach and scenic seafront. Once an industrial hub, it has shifted towards tourism with a focus on its natural beauty and local attractions.
The Rota:
• 40 hours a week over 4 days (8.30am–6.30pm), including paid designated breaks.
• Saturday mornings (8.30am–12pm) on a rota basis, with time off in lieu.
• No out-of-hours, no on-call, and no Bank Holiday working.
The Benefits:
• Competitive salary up to £70,000 (depending on experience).
• £1500 CPD allowance, plus 4 days for CPD.
• RCVS and VDS fees paid.
• 5 weeks holiday, plus Bank Holidays.
• Accommodation available if relocating.
