The opportunity
Our client is currently seeking experienced Assistant Project Managers to support a high-profile nuclear project based out of Devonport. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to take the next step in their project management career, offering high-level responsibility within a complex, design-phase environment.

The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, your role will be mostly Remote with (Site visit to Devonport every 6 weeks + occasional supplier travel)
Successful Candidates must be able to obtain SC

Your duties and responsibilities will be

- Support project delivery throughout the design phase.
- Manage supplier interfaces and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders across a highly regulated environment
- Coordinate site visits (1 every 6 weeks) and supplier travel as needed.
- Ensure contract and project compliance using NEC and CEMAR systems.

You will have the following qualifications and experience

- 2–5 years of project management experience, ideally within complex, high-risk sectors.
- Proven background in the nuclear industry.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC contract and CEMAR tool.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects during the design phase.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- While current Security Clearance (SC) is not required, candidates must be eligible to obtain it.
