Are you an experienced cover supervisor or a confident sports coach looking to step into the classroom? Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Huddersfield from September 2025.
About the RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task
- Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Support students in their learning and maintain a positive learning environment
- Gain valuable classroom experience in a variety of school settings
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Experience as a cover supervisor, grassroots sports coach, or sports coach
- Confidence in managing groups of secondary-aged students
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in schools
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
