Summary
Food Production Operative
Location: Derby, DE24
Pay Rate: £12.41 per hour + bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 16:00-01:00
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Food Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking team involved in food processing and packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Working on a production line, preparing raw meat products (pork, beef, poultry).
Adding ingredients, packing, and labelling finished goods.
De-boxing and de-bagging meat primal, placing them into trays.
Lifting boxes (up to 20kg) from pallets to work areas.
Disposing of waste materials into designated skips.
Collecting clean trays from the tray wash area.
Rotating through various tasks with the team.
Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards.
Supporting overall team productivity.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in the food industry, ideally handling raw meat.
Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods (approx. 8 hours).
A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
