This company is a leading UK organisation specialising in process pipework projects and mechanical installations. They are currently seeking a talented Pipe Fitter - TIG Welder to join their team on a 6-month+ contract basis, supporting a major project in Slough, SL1 4LG.
Key Responsibilities of the Pipe Fitter - TIG Welder Role:
- Fabricate and butt weld 1" to 4" OD thin-wall stainless steel pipework
- Work with schedule 10 stainless steel pipework up to 4" diameter
- Fabricate brackets and associated supports
- Assist other pipe fitter welders as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience as a Pipe Fitter - TIG Welder in a food, drink, or petrochemical processing environment
- Proficient in stainless steel TIG butt welding and general pipe fitting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
