Are you a practical, hands-on individual with experience in Construction or Design Technology? This exceptional SEN secondary school in Bexleyheath is looking for a committed DT Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding team in September. This is a brilliant full-time opportunity to support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs in a creative and structured learning environment.
As a DT Teaching Assistant, you’ll work within the school’s Design Technology department to help deliver practical lessons and support student engagement with vocational learning. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction or trades, looking to transition into education and make a lasting impact.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Supporting DT classes, including practical sessions with woodwork, tools, and safety equipment

• Supporting behaviour management and student engagement in vocational learning
• Helping to adapt lessons for learners with SEMH or SEND
• Collaborating with teachers and SEN staff to promote inclusion and confidence
