Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

The position will be for Year 4.

We are seeking candidates with appropriate ability and personality to engage with a child with Special Educational Needs on a one-to-one basis, enabling them to access the curriculum with adaptations as planned by the Class Teacher, to support the child in their learning and to help them make progress towards reaching their full potential.

An articulate, cheerful and engaging manner is essential, as is a willingness to accept direction from the Class Teacher and to be adaptable. Fluency in English is required.

Absolute adherence to confidentiality is needed, and an understanding of the importance of safeguarding of children.

GCSE Grade C or equivalent is needed in English and Mathematics.
