What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic KS1/2 teacher to join our caring and supportive school. We are a small school and nursery situated in the village of Woore on the Shropshire/Cheshire/Staffordshire border.
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled teacher to work with our mixed age Y2/3 class. A sound knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 framework will be essential. Due to the nature of the mixed age class, good organisational skills will be essential to balance the needs of multiple year groups. Previous experience in a mixed age class would be preferrable.
The successful candidate will be a key part of school development and will be responsible for a number of subject coordinator roles, including P.E and Humanities.
The successful applicant will:
• Be willing to coordinate subject areas within the school
• Offer proven good practice in teaching and learning in KS1 & KS2
• Provide a stimulating, creative curriculum
• Manage and develop an engaging indoor learning environment
• Deliver high quality learning experiences that engage and motivate all children
• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Have energy, enthusiasm and drive
• Work effectively with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
