Our Ideal candidate would have:
• Qualified teacher status (applications from ECT's are welcomed)
• Proven track record of effective teaching in the secondary education phase.
• Strong, current knowledge of the mathematics curriculum for impactful teaching.

The Maths Department at Ash Green School follows the AQA exam board and is committed to continuous improvement, with results rising year after year. Students are engaged and eager to learn, supported by a motivated and collaborative team. The department fosters a welcoming, open-door culture, where staff regularly pop in to share ideas and support one another. With a team of 8–9 dedicated members, including a strong support system for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), the department thrives on encouragement, professional growth, and a shared commitment to excellence in mathematics education.
