Summary
Please note: This is a fixed term position for 2 years.Working hours: 8 hours per week (2 hrs per day Mon to Thurs; can be flexible) Interview Date: To be confirmedOur Hall in Falmouth is open most days of the week, responding to the changing needs of our community, supporting people from a wide variety of backgrounds. We are seeking a friendly, compassionate individual who is looking to give back to the community. Are you that person?We need an exceptional individual as our Community/Corps Programme Worker who can offer the flexibility to allow us to respond to demand. The role will be varied, and will include providing support with areas such as:Opening and closing the hall between activitiesSetting up the hall for activitiesPreparing foodAdministrative duties relating to monitoring and complianceHelping with our charity shop when neededTravelling to Truro for banking activitiesSupervising our large bank of volunteersYou will be dealing with any routine issues which may arise, ensuring that sessions run smoothly. Your interactions with everyone who attends will be caring and professional, with the aim of creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all.In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have great communication and interpersonal skills; and also have experience of successfully delivering community programme.
