We are on the lookout for 3 Visitor Centre Assistant's with bundles of energy and enthusiasm to join our team. This is a varied role in which you will have the opportunity to deliver excellent customer experiences at weddings, parties, concerts and more, in a truly unique venue in Faversham. If you are friendly, adaptable and have a confident manner; this may be just the job for you.
This is a part-time role where the hours are flexible to support events, tours and other functions throughout the week. The exact hours of work will vary from week to week however will frequently take place in the evenings and weekends so availability at these times and the ability to work on a flexible basis are essential.
Please note: Evening shifts, at the Visitor Centre, Faversham, sometimes end at midnight or occasionally as late as 1.00 am.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Visitor Centre and Ole Brewery Store bars following checklist of the customer's requirements
- Use tills accurately
- Serve in the Visitor Centre and Old Brewery Store bars, dispensing drinks in line with best practice
- Close down the Visitor Centre and bar in alignment with checklists
- Help the team with any functions and wait on guests held at the Brewery
- Ensure that function rooms are prepared in good time for all bookings including setting out furniture to the required layout and, if required, erecting screens, display boards etc. and correctly positioning other equipment
- Promptly clear away and store display and catering equipment after use – washing the latter if required
- From time to time, assist at outside events
- Maintain public and work areas of Visitor Centre in a clean and tidy state, ensuring that rubbish, waste cardboard and empty bottles are removed to the correct locations
- Comply with Health & Safety rules and legislation, with consideration for the well-being of self, other employees, visitors and guests
- Carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested by Visitor Centre Manager, Senior Tour Guides or Visitor Centre Co-ordinators
