Pupil and Family Wellbeing CoordinatorSalary: Surrey Pay Grade S6 £29,697 (£12,774 Pro Rata) Contract: Part-Time (18 hours per week, 39 weeks per year) – Permanent Start Date: September 2025
The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic, compassionate and proactive Pupil and Family Wellbeing Coordinator to join our Laleham team. This role is key in strengthening the home-school partnership and supporting families and children to overcome barriers to learning and wellbeing. This position aligns with Surrey County Council’s family support model and focuses on early help, safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and inclusive practice.
We are looking for a highly motivated and effective Pupil and Family Wellbeing Coordinator who will have:
• Proven experience working with children and families in education, social care, or community settings.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and experience working within Surrey’s safeguarding framework.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• A solution-focused approach and the ability to build trust with families and pupils.
• Strong IT literacy and ability to maintain confidential records.
• Knowledge of child development and behaviour management.
• Awareness of Early Help and Team Around the Family (TAF) approaches.
• Work closely with the SENDCo, DSL and pastoral team, and leadership to identify and support vulnerable pupils.Visit's to Laleham C of E Primary school are encouraged, to arrange a site visit please see attached letter. Please note that all successful applicants at Laleham are required to undertake a criminal record check and the interview panel are trained in safer recruitment.
