Summary
Cleaner - 9 hours per week (3 hours per day, between 3.30pm and 8.30pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) - Term Time Only - exact hours negotiable within stated timesWe are looking for a new temporary Cleaner to join our existing Cleaning and Caretaking Team from 2 September 2025 to 19 December 2025, subject to the necessary employment checks. The successful candidate will join our team responsible for cleaning the school to ensure an appropriate environment for staff and pupils to work. The post is term time only, working Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the end of the school day, for 3 hours a day, between the hours of 3.30pm and 8.30pm, with exact hours negotiable with the successful candidate within these times. The post is temporary subject to completion of a satisfactory 3 month probationary period. Flexibility to work additional hours/days when needed to cover for absent colleagues would be an advantage, but not essential.
An ability to interact with teaching staff, members of the public and pupils is essential, as well as an ability to work as part of a team and independently using your own initiative. Full induction and training in the use of all cleaning equipment and procedures will be provided.
