About the role:

As an Auto CAD Technician, you will assist their Head Design Engineer in designing highly efficient agricultural machinery and trailers. Your responsibilities will involve collaboration across departments, especially with their team in Lithuania, to ensure that their products not only meet their standards but also exceed customer expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to product development and quality assurance in a dynamic fabrication and manufacturing environment. You will be required to work Mondays - Thursdays from 8:30am to 5pm with a half an hour lunch break at 1pm and Fridays from 8.30am to 3pm with a half an hour lunch break.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Design agricultural machinery and trailers using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer needs.

- Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, production, and quality teams to maintain specifications, resolve issues, and achieve high-quality output.

- Manage and update technical drawings and records, communicating changes effectively to support smooth manufacturing processes.

- Support customers with technical inquiries, warranty claims, and on-site setup of complex machinery.

- Assist in health and safety compliance and contribute to obtaining British Standard and EU Type Approval for trailers.

About you:

As an Auto CAD Technician, you should have strong proficiency in 3D CAD software and prior experience within an engineering environment. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is desirable; however, training will be provided if necessary. A clean UK driving licence is required, along with a sound understanding of British Standards and European Type Approval for trailers. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is essential. While speaking of the Lithuanian language would be advantageous, it is not a requirement. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a proactive approach to enhancing product design, safety, and durability, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our clients products.
