Fixed Term Contract - Catering Assistant - Alderwasley Hall School Sixth Form
Salary details:- £ 12.24 per hour
Job Term: Initially 6 months temporary contract with possibility of extension.
Appointment Type: Part Time - term time only
Hours:- 21 hours per week
Monday to Tuesday – 10:00-14:15
Wednesday – 10:00 – 14:30
Thursday and Friday – 10:00 – 14:00
Location:- Based at Alderwasley Hall School Sixth Form

About Us:-
Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form provides exceptional education for day and residential students aged 5 to 20. We transform the lives of young people with High-Functioning ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Asperger’s Syndrome, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Developmental Language Disorder.
The role:-
This is an exciting opportunity to join our existing catering team. The post is based at Alderwasley Hall School Sixth Form. The post will involve preparing, cooking and serving meals to our young people.
Essential Criteria
We are looking for an individual who ideally has:-
- Experience of preparing meals and working in a busy kitchen.
- Enthusiastic
- Patience
- Good communication skills
Previous experience is an advantage for this position, however not essential, as full training will be provided.
Due to the Schools rural location, your own transport may be required.
