Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Cash Flow & Profitability: Monitor cash flow and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Financial Strategy: Develop financial plans to support business growth.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets aligned with company objectives.
• Risk Management, Identify and mitigate financial risks
• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee transactions and ensure timely payments.
• Tax & Compliance: Ensure VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax compliance.
• Financial Reporting: Provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts team, ensuring high performance.
• Compliance & Regulations: Ensure adherence to UK financial laws and company policies.
• Collaboration with MMM GmbH: Align financial strategies and reporting with the parent company.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in financial operations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory bodies.

The Person
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.
• Experience: 5-10 years in financial management and accounting, preferably within a £10M+ turnover business.
• Technical Skills:
• Sage 200 platform experience – Essential.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Accounting knowledge, deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Problem solving skills, ability to identify and solve financial problems.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, and excellent communication.
