We do what we say

That’s why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done …

The Role

As a Planner within the IMA Alliance, you’ll play a key role in powering the success of our Water Metering projects. You’ll be at the centre of the action — building smart, efficient schedules and adapting in real-time to ensure our teams are always in the right place at the right time.

This role goes beyond box-ticking — you’ll balance fast-paced operations with forward planning to hit KPIs and keep service levels high. Using data and strong communication, you’ll work across teams to ensure time and resources are used wisely.

If you thrive in a dynamic environment and love turning complexity into clarity, this is your chance to make a big impact.

Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in…

  • Creating and refining daily work schedules that keep operations running smoothly
  • Analysing performance data and adapting plans to stay ahead of targets
  • Working hand-in-hand with operational teams to balance priorities and resources
  • Minimising downtime through efficient Gantt planning and proactive coordination with Supervisors
  • Ensuring all planning activity meets our quality, compliance, and regulatory standards

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate…

  • Experience in a planning or scheduling role within utilities, construction, or a similarly industry
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in scheduling tools and Gantt management systems.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt plans quickly as things change
  • Clear, confident communication — you can explain complex ideas simply to all kinds of stakeholders
