Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted, high quality tuition in GCSE-level Maths, English, or Science, adapted to each student's learning needs.
- Design and deliver creative, personalised lesson plans that support academic growth and build confidence.
- Track progress, set achievable goals, and offer consistent feedback.
- Provide inclusive support to learners, including those with SEN or additional educational needs.
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that helps students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE in Secondary Education or a relevant subject- this is essential.
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience at the secondary level.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Must have, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable:
- Experience working with SEN learners or students with additional needs.
- Confidence delivering Functional Skills or alternative learning pathways.
