Job Description

You will be responsible for delivering electrical and building services engineering maintenance across various client properties within the designated region.

Your duties will include fault finding, repairs, routine maintenance, and installation work, ensuring all tasks meet safety standards and client expectations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical PPM, reactive, and proactive maintenance within set timeframes.
Support general building maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Provide callout support as per the rota and issue Permits to Work for contractors.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure work meets required standards.
Ensure all electrical equipment and surroundings meet performance and safety standards.
Complete accurate administrative records and ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
Promote service improvements and maintain strong client communication.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

City & Guilds 2365, 2357 Level 3, NVQ 2356 AM2, and 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation with NVQ 2356 and AM2
City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations Part 1 & 2
City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS:7671:2018), preferably with A2 Amendment
Preferred: Recognised apprenticeship, City & Guilds or equivalent in Inspection & Testing (2391/2394/2395), JIB accreditation, IPAF/PASMA, and full UK driving license
Extensive experience in electrical building services maintenance, fault finding, installation, and testing
Proven track record in reactive and PPM building services maintenance within FM or commercial properties
Skilled in working under strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements
