Are you a proactive, hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining safe, welcoming school environments? A Primary school in Hale are looking for a Site Manager to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis, and help keep their school running smoothly, inside and out.

£23,893 - £26,916 DOE
36.25 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Split Shift: 7:00-10:30am & 2:30-6:15pm
Start Date: July 2025 Permanent
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school site.
- Carry out repairs and general maintenance (plumbing, joinery, decorating, etc.).
- Supervise cleaning staff and monitor cleaning standards.
- Manage contractors and ensure health & safety compliance.
- Operate and monitor fire, security, and CCTV systems.
- Maintain accurate records including risk assessments, audits, and stock control.
- Perform key holding duties and be part of the emergency call-out rota.
- Support school events and liaise daily with the Headteacher and School Business Manager.
- Emergency cleaning (e.g. spills, bodily fluids, floods).
- Litter picking and graffiti removal
- Monitoring energy usage and maintaining heating/lighting systems
- Porterage and general caretaking tasks
Key Skills/Experience
- Honest, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Strong DIY and maintenance skills.
- Experience in facilities/site management/caretaking (school experience a bonus).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Committed to the values and ethos of a school environment.
- Flexible, with a positive and proactive attitude.
