Summary

C We R Here CIC are a supported living accommodation provider, which are seeking flexible, hardworking, and self-driven individuals to join our expanding team across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, We support service users who face hardship and social exclusion, including ex-offenders, those experiencing homelessness, individuals with substance misuse issues, and those impacted by mental health challenges or trauma.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our tenancy-related Supported Living service. You will be working with individuals who have experienced substance misuse, mental health challenges, and/or are ex-offenders, helping them build the skills and confidence needed to live independently and maintain their tenancies.You’ll work closely with residents to promote independent living, offering support in areas such as budgeting, accessing healthcare, engaging with recovery services, and preparing for employment or education.

Key Responsibilities

Support residents in maintaining their tenancies and adhering to tenancy agreements
Provide 1:1 support and key working sessions tailored to individual needs
Assist with life skills such as budgeting, shopping, appointments, and accessing community services
Collaborate with external agencies (e.g., probation, mental health teams, drug/alcohol services)
Support service users to develop routines, build confidence, and engage in meaningful activities
Maintain clear, up-to-date records and contribute to support planning and risk assessments
Uphold safeguarding, equality, and professional boundaries at all times
About You

You don’t need to come from a care background, but you do need to be resilient, reliable, and non-judgemental. Experience working with vulnerable adults, especially those with complex needs, is desirable but not essential – we value transferable skills and a strong commitment to social inclusion.You’ll need to have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, practical approach
An understanding of the challenges faced by people with substance misuse, mental health issues, or criminal justice involvement
Ability to build trusting, supportive relationships
Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
