We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive and high-achieving mathematics department. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students across a broad range of mathematical topics and help them develop confidence and fluency in numeracy. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Maths Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus).
Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and resilience.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Differentiate lessons to support all learners, including those with additional needs.
Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of teaching resources.
Promote a positive attitude to learning and support the school’s ethos and values.
Participate in school activities, clubs, and intervention programmes as required.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
A strong understanding of the national curriculum and GCSE specifications.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
A passion for mathematics and the ability to make the subject accessible and enjoyable.
A reflective and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
