Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, includes day and night shifts
Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour days and £13.71 per hour nights
The Oakleaf Group, part of The CareTech Group, is firmly established as one of the leading providers of rehabilitation services for men who have a brain injury or who suffer from other neurological conditions.
Our main site is based in Hartwell, Northampton but we also have services based in Duston, Weston Favell, Hunsbury and Wellingborough. We are now recruiting Supported Living Support Workers to support our clients in our new development in Wellingborough. Posts are full - time and will include a variety of days, nights and twilights. As part of your contract, you will be expected to work across any of the Oakleaf sites if required.
Working in the Supported Living dictates a level of flexibility and all our Supported Living staff must be available to work where required. No staff are employed to any one area or unit. Some Supported Living staff will work on a rotation of working on the main site and in the Supported Living houses again, as and when required.

- Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS prior to commencement of employment, this expense will be met by the employer.
Requirements for the role:
- Experience in a Caring environment
- Able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays
- Good communication skills, allowing you to engage & interact with our residents
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Confidence to work alone and also be part of a team (family)
- Passionate about making a difference to someone else life
- Good written skills
- Able to fulfil the sleep-in duties in accordance with the agreed rota
Full training will be given to meet the individual needs of the client but previous care experience is required.
The job role:
- To work as a member of our Multidisciplinary Care Team in maintaining and delivering a high standard of holistic resident care 24 hours a day.
- To implement and effectively assist in the day to day running of all prescribed resident care packages and assist in meeting all basic care needs.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date residents’ information, recordings and general records.
- To assist in delivering personal care to residents whilst respecting privacy, dignity and personal boundaries.
- Maintain resident confidentiality/data protection in line with unit and policy.
- To take direction from senior community support workers with qualified professionals.
