Summary

South Wales Police are looking to recruit to our Casual Worker Scheme. This scheme is placement based and individuals will be employed on a temporary basis with opportunities to work Force wide. The placements are suitable for both full time and part time.

Initial placements for successful applicants will be for 3 to 6 months. If a placement ends the applicants will be placed back onto the register for future employment. These placements are ideal for applicants to have experience in a variety of different areas of the Force.

Successful applicants will be used to recruit into a number of administrative vacancies as they arise within our various departments across the Force within the below locations:

Swansea, Neath & Port Talbot
Cardiff & the Vale
Mid Glamorgan
Bridgend HQ

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, positive and committed people to join our team in providing this professional support.

Candidates must have excellent keyboard and numeracy skills, together with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Candidates must be prepared to undergo security vetting to the level appropriate for each role.
